Little hands. Big imaginations.
We know that not every visitor is coming to buy pottery… but that doesn’t mean they can’t enjoy the day just as much!
Our Clay Explorers activities are designed to keep curious minds busy while grown-ups browse, chat to the makers and discover beautiful handmade ceramics. Along the way, children can look closely, hunt for hidden details and hopefully discover that pottery can be pretty exciting too.
Pick up a free activity sheet at the Welcome Desk or download one before your visit.
Somewhere around the fair we’ve hidden our special Chester Ceramics Fair mug.
Can you spot it?
Keep your eyes peeled as you wander around the makers’ stands. It might be hiding in plain sight!
Found it? Pop back to the Welcome Desk and let us know where you spotted it.
Take a little piece of Chester Ceramics Fair home with you.
